Abstract

Existing methods of aerospace survey thematic processing, as a rule, do not provide an explicit formal transition from an indicative model of a satellite image to the figurative and symbolic model of a thematic map. This paper proposes a method of satellite image thematic interpretation based on structural models representing the relationship of individual objects and their properties in complex multi-component systems “geo-data” and “ground facilities”. The results can be used to improve the existing systems of space data processing and develop new ones.
