Abstract

The paper dwells on the condition of atmospheric air and precipitations in the North of the Russian Plain. We have revealed a tendency for changes in pollutant emissions as compared to the data of the atmospheric air monitoring. Spatial distribution of precipitation acidity by detection frequency over the recent period was determined. Sulfur deposition loads were calculated in correlation with the critical loads for the given region.
