Lomonosov (Arkhangelsk, Russia) AbstractThe article presents the results of studying ECG parameters in women older than 65 years who had two or more falls during the year, compared to women of the same age who did not have any falls for the same period. The two groups did not show any significant differences in ECG parameters. Macruz index values in both groups were significantly higher than the normal range. We also found that heart rate of women who experienced two or more falls during the year was statistically lower than that of the women who did not have any falls.Keywordswomen older than 65, falls, ECG, heart rate, Macruz index. The full-text version of the article can be requested through the university’s library.
