Section: Biology UDC[612.766.1:613.6:613.12](98)AuthorsGudkov Аndrey Borisovich, Northern State Medical University, Institute of Hygiene and Human EcologyAbstractThe article presents the results of a comprehensive study of the functional state of workers’ bodies in the dynamics of the rotational period in the Arctic region. Peculiarities of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems’ functioning as well as of regulatory mechanisms have been detected; workers’ functional reserves and physical efficiency during the rotational period have been assessed. It has been established that the nature of compensatory-adaptive reactions of rotation workers’ bodies is determined by the type of rotations applied and by seasonal climate conditions at the production sites.Keywordsthe Arctic, rotation work, compensatory-adaptive reactions in rotation workers’ bodies. The full-text version of the article can be requested through the university’s library. |
